The customer service was exceptionally disappointing. We felt neglected the entire time, and when I approached the staff for help, they were unresponsive and dismissive. The room was incredibly uncomfortable. it was hot, and the lack of proper ventilation prevented us from having a good night's sleep, worsening our overall experience.

The communication about dinner arrangements left much to be desired!!! A more welcoming atmosphere could improve the overall feelings when entering the hotel!!! Punctuality in meal service would enhance the dining experience!!!

Perfect spot for a family getaway

I gotta say, the onsen was a real treat, nothing beats relaxing in that hot water after a long day. Also, the staff was very attentive, they even showed us all the local spots to grab dinner, made life easier for us.

our stay was incredible! it exceeded my expectations, especially compared to my previous experiences in kyoto. the traditional tatami-floored room with a private onsen was a highlight for our romantic date night, and the delicious kaiseki dinner really made it special.

The air conditioning didn’t function effectively, leaving the room uncomfortably hot during my stay. The breakfast hours were limited, running from 7 AM to 8:30 AM, which felt early, especially since housekeeping seemed to be in a rush, disrupting the comfort of the room. Despite paying a premium price, the overall experience didn’t match expectations, with a lack of clarity surrounding amenities like meals and room type.

Staying here was a delight! The delicious kaiseki dinner served right in our room was an unforgettable experience, and the traditional Japanese décor added such charm. The futon was super comfy, just perfect for a relaxing night's sleep!

The Japanese style room with 10 tatami mats was spacious and very comfortable. The aesthetics of the place contributed significantly to a relaxing atmosphere. I found the cleanliness of the room exceptional, which made my stay enjoyable.

Service wasn't as attentive as I expected from a ryokan.

The traditional breakfast was delicious and the

location was great. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. However, I did find the futons to be a bit firm for my liking. Overall, it was a unique experience for first-time ryokan visitors.
